Firefighter/EMS
Many Join for different reasons. One of the primary reasons people become firefighters is to help others. As a firefighter, you will be on the front lines of emergency response, saving lives and protecting property from fire, natural disasters, and other emergencies. We at the Hummels Wharf Fire Company will provide all of the necessary tools and training to do just that! More Reasons to join are:
- Helping others: Volunteer firefighters help people in need, and some say it’s the most rewarding part of the job.
- Professional development: Volunteer firefighters receive training in a variety of areas, including fire suppression, emergency medical services, and hazardous materials response.

Junior Program
(14 through 17 Years of age)
There are many reasons to become a junior firefighter, including:
