Fire Co. began in 1924 (?) Incorporated in 1931

1925 – Carnival for benefit of Hummels Wharf Fire Company at Rolling Green, Aug 31 1925
1931 – Applied For Charter
1933 – voted to purchase the building they were using, from T.M. Kessler (Thomas Marion Kessler 1854-1940 was a raftsman and hotel owner)
1935 – purchased apparatus from Goodwill Hose in Sunbury.
1945 – Purchased State Bank Building for Social Quarters. Purchased the liquidated State Bank in Hummels Wharf. Planned to erect an addition to the west to house the apparatus.
1946 – Notice of sale of the property purchased from T. M. Kessler. Article gives a good description of the location.
1948 – Fire Truck advertisement, H.O. DeBoer and Associates
1949 – Hummels Wharf Fire Company Plans Annex – 30×100 foot extension to the club room
1952 – New Fire truck delivered
